Ing. arch. Tina Johansson
Tina Johansson is a Prague-based architect. After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture at CVUT in Prague, she gained valuable experience working in London’s leading architectural studios. During her time in London, she developed a passion for exhibition design while contributing to the permanent exhibition at the Science Museum (muf architecture/art). Her expertise also extends to public space projects, such as her work on the Hradební Korzo project in Prague (AOC architekti).
Tina gradually built her own studio while balancing personal projects alongside her primary work. Notable early personal projects include Galerie Bouda and a children’s bike park (presented on web), both of which reflect her commitment to creating spaces that engage communities. Exhibition design remains a passion, as it allows Tina to experiment with innovative principles in short-term projects, which she then applies to more extensive undertakings.
While firmly rooted in Prague, where she studied and began her career, Tina’s work has an international scope, partly influenced by her background in fashion. She is currently working on projects in Sweden and Croatia, further expanding her global reach.
Tina always places the client at the center of the design process, fostering a collaborative dialogue to ensure their vision is honored. Rather than forcing design decisions, she works with respect for history, striving for thoughtful, contextually aware architecture rather than seeking originality for its own sake—an approach deeply influenced by her studio's location in Prague. If you’re looking for a partner who values your input and works with respect for the past, feel free to get in touch. Tina also collaborates with experts and other architects for larger-scale projects, and can recommend trusted building companies. A portfolio with similar projects can be provided upon request, as not all work is featured online.
